The Bichon Frise Club of Ireland Breed Championship Show was held at the St Colmcilles GAA Club in Swords, County Dublin on the May Bank Holiday Monday where Colm Beattie of the Branstock Bichons, American Cockers and Yorkshire Terriers was the judge. There was a very good entry of thirty three exhibits and the regular classification is added to with a number of novelty classes which can be entered on the day, ranging from a class for the first time exhibitor to the Most Natural Circus Performer. There was a very nice gesture by the committee with the inclusion of an appreciation page for the achievements of Ashling Connolly’s Ashmair Kennel during the last twelve months.
