 The Scottish Terrier Club of Ireland held their annual successful Open Show at the National Show Centre in Cloghran where an entry of almost 300 exhibits awaited the panel of judges from North and South. Alan Doyle of the well known Rottsdale Rottweilers was the Best in Show judge and he chose the winner of Group 6 Eamonn Murray’s Beagle Timamso Bouganvillea of Heathergrove to top the entry.
The Group 9 winner, Sean and Cathy Lydon’s Tibetan Terrier Tripitaka The French Connection was Alan’s selection as Reserve Best in Show. Rosie O’Rourke and Louise Furlong’s Standard Schnauzer Tullykyne Castle Hotel was the winner of the Puppy Stakes from a great entry of 30 and Bastable’s Smooth Haired Miniature Dachshund CH/INT CH Nordach Ticket To Ride topped the Champion Stakes from an entry of 30 also. Vivienne Coulter’s Whippet CH/GB CH Collooney Silver Silas was Alan’s winner of the Veteran Stakes.
